Die NEW ORLEANS HOT SHOTS entstanden 1987 und sind heute eine der wenigen Bands, die noch den sch\u00f6nen alten New Orleans Jazz pflegen. Diese urspr\u00fcngliche Jazzform, eine melodi\u00f6se, freie, spontane und gef\u00fchlvolle Musik ohne komplizierte Arrangements, entstand um 1900 und wurde noch gegen das Jahr 2000 von den letzten legend\u00e4ren Musikern in der \u00abPreservation Hall\u00bb in New Orleans gespielt. Die erfahrenen Mitglieder des spielfreudigen Septetts \u2013 das inzwischen um die 250 Titel im Repertoire hat! \u2013 haben schon mit Gr\u00f6ssen wie Sammy Rimington, Albert Nicolas, Ralph Sutton oder Lillian Boutt\u00e9 gespielt und verm\u00f6gen stets zu begeistern.<\/p>\n
