LowTone_Art ist ein Tuba Quartett aus der Schweiz und besteht aus vier professionellen Euphonisten und Tubisten, welche als Dirigenten, Kammer- und
\nOrchestermusiker sowie Musikp\u00e4dagogen und Kulturschaffende in den Kantonen Bern, Luzern und Z\u00fcrich t\u00e4tig sind.
\nF\u00fcr das neue Projekt Voices From Different Eras, welches im Fr\u00fchjahr 2025 zur Auff\u00fchrung gelangen wird, wurde eine Auftragskomposition an den britischen
\nTubisten und Komponisten Paul McGhee (*1980) vergeben. Sein zeitgen\u00f6ssisches St\u00fcck That Mockingbird Don\u2019t Sing, sprengt die Grenzen der bestehenden Tuba-Quartett-Literatur und zeigt eindr\u00fccklich, wie technisch virtuos und klanglich vielseitig die tiefen Blechblasinstrumente eingesetzt werden k\u00f6nnen. Das St\u00fcck wird eingebettet in ein stilistisch vielseitiges Programm, welches quer durch verschiedene Epochen f\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n
